Crux
Crux Holds is a Brazilian climbing hold manufacturer that is dedicated to creating the best holds. Through innovative design and manufacturing, they are constantly pushing themselves to create holds that captivate and allow for creative routes. They are proud of their humble beginnings and the value they bring to the climbing community.
Fábio Gioffrê
Fábio Gioffrê is the founder and chief shaper at Crux Holds and has been producing climbing holds since 1996. He graduated in Design and did his post-graduate work in Design Management. He is meticulous about his designs, prioritizing the ergonomics and function of the holds in addition to the esthetics. During his studies he specialized in climbing holds, focusing on the development of materials, shaping techniques and biomechanics. Today Fábio continues to use his technical background to create holds that are at the forefront of hold design and trends.
Felipe Camargo
Felipe Camargo is a profession rock climber and owner at Crux Holds. Considered by most to be the best South American rock climber, being the first and currently only South American to have climbed 5.15b and V15. After years of involvement with Crux, he formally joined as a partner in the Company, bringing with him years of experience as a gym owner, competition climber, world traveler and trend setter. Felipe started climbing at the age of ten and by fifteen was making waves in the climbing community. He is a huge advocate for climbing in Brazil, constantly trying to bring recognition and resources to a place that has been under appreciated by the climbing industry.
